The music of efesar is fundamentally inspired
by a worldly array of classical, traditional and contemporary
music. The common thread that runs through all efesar
music is purity of expression. Although universal truth
is an abstract tenet of philosophy that defies cadence,
it is through the art of music and noise that efesar
is able to bring these ideals into a concrete world.
Early musical influences included popular groups such
as Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Einsturzende Neubauten,
Tool and Depeche Mode. Later such influences as Dead
Can Dance, Beethoven, Underworld, Chemical Brothers
and Legendary Pink Dots come into focus.
efesar is primarily the solo project of keldot
("k"). inspiration and contributions comes from v0sh,
basketweaver and ash. efesar has four LPs available,
and many more singles and EPs on the way.
